My "Peace" Christmas Tree

I finally finished decorating
my Christmas Tree!
This year I decided
not to put all the ornaments
on the tree,
and kept it simple.
I chose a silver and gold
color palette,
and a "Peace" theme.

Shopping at the $.99 store,
I found these cute little peace plaques.
At that price, I couldn't resist.
So, I bought quite a few.
I took most of them of their stand
and wired them to hang on the tree.
I love the way they look.
It's my "Peace Tree".

Ta-Da!
The piece de resistance!
My Beautiful tree.
(Even if I do say so myself...lol)

I bought a miniature silver tea set at a thrift shop and hung the individual pieces from ribbon on the tree
I adore silver tea sets!

I have a couple of
chandeliers on the tree.
They're so sweet.

 My cute snowman.

My beaded "cancer" ornaments.
I made ten of these when Ed had
cancer.  It kept my me busy.
(it took me 3 hours to complete each one)

Vintage leather books,
my peace sign, bronze baby booties,
a Tibetan meditation bowl,
vintage brass lamp,
and last but not least...
and a picture of Mum.

She's not with us this Christmas...
don't worry she's still alive,
she's celebrating
the holidays in Yuma, Arizona.

My French french lamb!
Love my Lamb! ; )
And Vintage corbels.

Antique French Olive pots.
I was so excited when I got these.

And...not to forget my cloche,
I used the tray from my
miniature tea set for the base...that was a bonus.

I hung my vintage Sacred Heart
picture for the holidays.
I collect religious artifacts.
 This is my favorite
likeness of Jesus!
 (...and Jesus is
the reason for the season...right?...
...at least in this house)

I'm linking up to the following holiday parties.
Come and join the fun!

for some Vintage Christmas inspiration.
